I use my camera as a tool to examine the world around me. I take time to study light, shadows, textures, colors and reflections and think about the immeasurable possibilities for an image. Through this process I gain a greater understanding of the places in which I work. For me, there is no greater joy than making a photograph. Peggy Casey-Friedman received a BFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1984. She has been exhibiting her work since the late 1980’s. She has had solo exhibits at Devening Projects, a two person show at the Chicago Cultural Center, and participated in many group shows in Illinois and throughout the United States.
